WEST: Water & Environment Student Talks
The region we call the Pacific Northwest is a bastion of freshwater and a hub of water research and innovation. We want to exploit this by creating a gathering of students and young professionals at UBC through a conference called WEST 2014. This conference will be an interdisciplinary water and wastewater conference aimed at graduate students and young professionals from universities in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon. In June of 2014, 100 delegates from these universities will meet in Vancouver, BC to exchange knowledge and current research work on topics in water science, policy and engineering. This conference will also act as the Canadian Association for Water Quality's (CAWQ) Pacific Symposium.
