Chaired by<strong data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"722\"> Dr. Chunjiang An<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"722\">Dr. Maria Elektorowicz<\/strong>, the symposium brought together <strong data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"780\">over 130 participants<\/strong> from academia, industry, government, and non-profit organizations, all united by a shared commitment to advancing water quality science, technology, and policy.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"763\">Symposium Highlights<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"804\">Over two days, the symposium featured:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"1337\">\n<li data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"906\">\n<p data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"906\">More than <strong>70 presentations<\/strong>, including keynote addresses, oral sessions and poster presentations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"1039\">\n<p data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"1039\">Engaging discussions on emerging water quality issues, innovative treatment technologies, and collaborative research directions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1211\">\n<p data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1211\">Active involvement by the International Water Association Young Water Professionals Canada (<strong>IWA\u2010YWP Canada<\/strong>) through networking and professional development activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1337\">\n<p data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1337\">Vibrant exchanges among established and <strong>early\u2010career researchers<\/strong> fostering collaboration and innovation across disciplines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1512\">The event provided a dynamic platform for sharing cutting\u2010edge research and exploring new directions in water quality management and sustainability across Canada and beyond.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1541\">Student Awardees<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1798\">Congratulations to all student award recipients of the CAWQ 38th Eastern Canadian Symposium for your outstanding presentations and research contributions.
